RoboDis - The Evolution Continues

Upon introducing the RoboDis® system successfully to the market, ERWEKA® now presents a completely worry free package,
Renting or leasing of the complete system including service and support!
The RoboDis® dissolution system is available with a 5 year contract and a leasing payment as of
€ 4.800/month.

Beyond the financial benefits, technical innovations have been implemented to the RoboDis®. The integration of a hydrodynamic optimized “flow-through-cell” for UV-measurement as a powerful instrument for method development maximizing flexibility, as well as the integration of a new fiber-optic probe which was developed in collaboration with the renowned manufacturer Hellma are available.

New TBH 125

The new TBH 125 is an easy to use model that enables a low-cost entry to ERWEKA® hardness testing.

Quantity (max. 99) and diameter (max. 32.00 mm) of the samples are entered via keypad. During the test, test results (hardness up to 250N and optionally diameter in mm) and statistic analyses are shown by two red luminous LE displays. Together with the current date, time, device serial number and date of the last calibration, these results are documented by a printer connected via USB port.

Run-time parameters, such as date, time, the delay required between the tests of individual samples as well as the measurement method (constant force in increase of N/s or constant speed in mm/sec) can be defined via integrated settings menu.

The static calibration of hardness measurement and the recognition of diameter (optional) as well as their verification at 3 selectable points within the measurement range, are supported by the calibration menu.

Technical data:

  • Electronic load cell (calibratable)
  • Up to 99 samples/testrun with a max. diameter/lenght of 32mm
  • Optional calculation of diameter and length from 0.10 up to 32.00 mm
  • Measurement range for hardness testing from 3 to 250 Newton (display possible in N, KP or SC; transposable)
  • Measurement accuracy: +/-1 Newton respectively +/- 0.03 mm
  • Adjustable break between the individual measurements
  • Two measurement modes (constant force and constant speed), transponsable
  • Adjustable measurement of speed (constand force in increase of N/sec. ; constant speed in mm/sec.)
  • Integrated calibration menu
  • USB printerport (applicable printer from PCL 3) for the documentation of test data, test statistics as well as calibration

Options:

  • Colour combination „white edition“
  • Extendable measurement range to 500N
  • Spare part kit TBH 125
  • IQ/OQ handbook
  • Calibration weights/calibration blocks for diameter/thickness
  • PQ tablets

Patented iBasket with optical disintegration time detection

The ZTi 320 series offers the first automated disintegration tester, that totally corresponds to the requirements of USP/EP and at the

same time enables an automated recognition as well as an analysis of disintegration with and without disc. This new series of disintegration

testers is based on the ZT 320 series with visual determination of the disintegration time. Based on the patented iBasket with integrated media temperature measurement,

ZT.net Software, PC and ConBox the ZT 320 can be upgraded to ZTi 320 with automated determination of disintegration time for

one, several or all test stations.

Unlike previous solutions the iBasket does not require any modification of the sieve (e.g. split sieve or any other similar insertions

like perforated metal plates or membranes), the glass tube (inserted coil) or the disc (for example magnet, shim or coil). For this reason

no cross validation is required.

The automated recognition of the disintegration time is based on a wavelengths transmitter and two recognition sensors, which

are integrated into the ground plate of the iBasket. These sensors recognize the tablet as well as its size. So the ZTi 320 recognizes and records not only the exact

disintegration time of each sample but also shows a graph of the disintegration curve (for example in the beginning faster disintegration of the outer layers and later on

slower disintegration of the core). This disintegration graph makes it possible to draw detailed conclusions on the sample‘s dissolution characteristic (other disintegration

graphic = changed dissolution characteristic) already during the disintegration test.

The iBasket can easily be inserted into the ZT 320’s holder of the disintegration basket and can then be connected to the ConBox (for up to 4 iBaskets), which is also

connected to a PC with ZT.Net software. ZT.net now communicates with the disintegration tester for start/stop and the data analysis (for example temperature data).

The quantity of the manual and the automated test stations can be freely combined and changed anytime. A 4-position ZT 324 can be upgraded to a ZTi 324-2 by adding

2 iBaskets for the automated analysis.

The complete storage of data (product data, batch data, results etc.), display of results, media temperature documentation throughout the test-run, batch analysis and print-out of results takes place based on the ZT.Net software package.
