The ERWEKA ZT 850 Series is the first disintegration tester which offers a fully USP/EP compliant automatic determination of the actual disintegration time of each sample, with and without the use of the disc.

The patented optical detection system eliminates the need of any modification of the USP/EP described disc, sieves and/or glass tubes and therefore (due to the absence of any modification) doesn’t require any crossvalidation with USP/EP compliant system.
The ZT 850 can be configured at choice, with one or multiple test stations (up to 4) which could be a mix of standard (manual) and automated (iBasket) test-stations.
The ZT 850 bases on the manual ZT 320 Series Disintegration tester with automated lift-in/-out of the Basket Rack and is upgraded for automated detection by the patented iBasket with optical disintegration time detection, the ConBox for connection and the ZT.net software package for control (computer and printer not included in standard delivery range).
ZT 850 operates with nearly all sorts of samples, either fully disintegrating or not fully disintegrating.
