Manual Determination:

ERWEKA offers three series of Disintegration Testers where the disintegration process has to be visually observed and manually documented.

The USP/Pharm.Eur. compliant basic ZT 40 Series, like all other ERWEKA Disintegration Tester Series, is available with 1, 2, 3 and 4 Test Stations. The Basket Rack Assembly/ies have to be lowered/raised manually on the start and completion of the test-run.

The advanced ZT 500 series allows to pre-set the required temperature (integrated flow-through heating system) and test-run duration. The one to four Test Stations of the unit operate simultaneously. On completion of the pre-set test-run duration an alarm appears and the Basket Rack Assemby/ies have to be lifted out manually.

At the ZT 300 Series each Test Station can be operated individually, a test-run duration for each Test Station can be pre-set using the numeric keypad/s. Similar to the ZT 500 the elapsed run-time for each Test Station is shown at the 4-line LC display/s. In addition to the ZT 500 at the ZT 300 the temperature is measured by an electronic temperature sensor, the Basket Rack Assemply/ies at the start/completion of the pre-set test-run duration are lifted in and out automatically.

Automatic Determination:
