The DFZ 720 USP compliant basic ERWEKA Flow-Through-Cell Dissolution Tester offers 7 Test Stations for different USP Cells (12.6 mm, 22.0 mm, Powder and Granulate Cell, Suppository Cell and Implant Cell) located above a water bath (external flow-through heater) by which the dissolution media is heated prior to the entrance to the Cell.

Each cell is equipped with an individual opening/closing cell-head.

The DFZ 720, as standard, comes with a special media inlet with integrated valve system. This valve system, in case the cell/filter is blocked, guides the medium around the cell and shows the user that the test-station is blocked.

For individual control of each cell a set of integrated 3-way valves is offered as an option. Further a temperature sensor can be implemented into each cell. This allows display and documentation (via the Control Unit, Type SE) of the media temperature prior to the entrance to the test-station (cell).
