Operating the Flow-Through-Cell, the Pump is the critical point! According to the USP requirements the Pump has to transfer 4, 8 or 16 ml per minute by 120 strokes in the form of a sinus curve and an accuracy of +/- 5%.

The HKP 720 7-channel Piston Pump with Teflon/Ceramics pump heads exceeds this requirement and delivers media between 2.0 and 32.0 ml (at 120 strokes) with the requested accuracy. In case higher/lower volumes are needed the HKP 720 allows to adjust the number of strokes per minute between 25 and 200 to deliver volumes of approx. 0.35 – 50.0 ml/min.

The flow-rate has not to be adjusted manually anymore. The ratio of volume flow is entered in steps and the pump automatically adjusts the pump heads.
Not to get changes in the flow rate due to air-bubbles inside the pump heads, the ERWEKA Piston Pump deaerates automatically.
