The new AutoPosition tool (patent pending) >> not only aligns convex shaped oblongs, additionally it moves the tablets against the end point! Therefore the risk of wrong measurement results by either inaccurate manual positioning or turning of the samples is dramatically lowered. The AutoPosition tool is optionally available for all ERWEKA tablet hardness and tablet combinations testers of the TBH 225/255 and TBH 325/355 series.
The ERWEKA TBH 355 TD is designed to measure hardness (10 - 500, optional 10 - 1.000 Newton; accuracy ± 1 Newton), diameter/length (0.10 - 26.00 mm, optional 0.10 - 70.00 mm; accuracy ± 0.03 mm) and thickness (0.10 - 12.00 mm; accuracy ± 0.03 mm)
The TBH 355 TD in addition to the standard TBH 355 offers automatic measurement of sample diameter/length and semi-automatic measurement of sample thickness. The units’ electronics are linked to a digital thickness measuring device under which the sample is placed before testing hardness and diameter/length. The thickness measuring gauge is lowered manually and the displayed result is transferred to either create a 3 parameter print-out or transfer of data to a PC with TBH 355 software package.
