The new AutoPosition tool (patent pending) >> not only aligns convex shaped oblongs, additionally it moves the tablets against the end point! Therefore the risk of wrong measurement results by either inaccurate manual positioning or turning of the samples is dramatically lowered. The AutoPosition tool is optionally available for all ERWEKA tablet hardness and tablet combinations testers of the TBH 225/255 and TBH 325/355 series.
Semi-automated ERWEKA Combination Tester for testing the 4 essential parameters of round and odd shaped samples (weight, thickness, diameter and hardness).
An external Sartorius or Mettler analytical balance with windshield (20.0 mg to 50.0000 g; accuracy ± 0.1 mg; Sartorius balance with in-built calibration weight) is connected to the unit. The sample is placed manually onto the balance, the weight is determined and transferred to the units’ electronics.
Then the sample is placed under a digital thickness measuring device which is lowered manually and the displayed result is transferred. To complete the test the sample is now transfered into the hardness/diameter test station and the test is started.
3.5” TFT colour display, “Navigator-Keys” for one finger handling of the Windows CE user menu, alpha-numeric touchscreen-keypad, removable Control Unit, CFR 21/11 compliant Audit Trail and switchable “Constant-Speed” as well as “Constant-Force” measurement principle make the standard TBH 255 into one of the most advanced tablet hardness testers in the world-wide market.
Of course an advanced unit like the TBH x55 includes password controlled user entry (multi-level; level definition by the administrator), OQ-Traffic Light for calibration alarm (definition by the administrator) and min. 512 MB memory card for CFR 21/11 memory, Intel 520 MHz Processor, 64 MB memory, USB printer interface, LAN interface for PC connection, waste container etc.
