Detergents Tester RT 700 is a versatile laboratory test equipment with which the washing process of a common washing machine/dishwasher can be simulated, in order to determine different quality parameters of cleaning agents (tabs).

The RT 707 is equipped with 7 test stations with 1,000 ml or 2,000 ml glass vessels and a further station into which the supply of the immersion cooler is integrated. The glass vessels are integrated into a water bath, which can be heated depending upon test requirements up to 45 °C or cooled down to 10°C. The regulation of the temperature takes place via the combination of a flow heater and a cooler. If the immersion cooler is not needed, it can be removed. Thereby an eighth test station becomes free.

Each of the 7 test stations allows paddles to simulate the agitating movement of a washing machine/dishwasher. The unit can be driven with up to 300 min -1. The direction of rotation can be changed after a freely adjustable break, and thus the washing process is simulated optimally.

Using the adjustable test parameters of the RT 700 such as temperature, rate of motion and duration of the test, most different test standards currently used by manufacturers of cleaning agents and dishwashers can be tested. In each test the structure of the cleaning solution, degree of water hardness, pH value, chloride, etc., can be varied.
