To learn more about his everyday working life at ERWEKA and his person, we have asked Mr. Raab a few questions.

Mr. Raab, you have been working for ERWEKA since February, 2015. What´s your profession at ERWEKA?

I am working as a technician in the assembly department.

What´s your job about?

Together with my colleagues, I am responsible for mounting the different devices in the assembly department. The pre-assembly department already prepares the base devices and we are doing the final assembly afterwards. I also generate the final report for our customers, which contains all assembled parts. The different accessories are listed in the report as well. After mounting the device, I set it, put it into operation and calibrate the equipment. We are finishing the devices so that the customer is able to use it immediately. In summary, it can be said that the assembly department is responsible for the precision work.

What´s your background? What have you been doing before you have started to work for ERWEKA?

I joined ERWEKA after finishing my training. I did a training as an industrial mechanic at the company Continental.

What do you appreciate most about ERWEKA?

I appreciate that I had the chance to start at ERWEKA directly after my apprenticeship. This cannot be taken for granted nowadays, because many companies are looking for people who have already gathered some professional experience. Of course, I also like my job very much and enjoy working together with our team.

What do you like to do in your leisure time?

In my leisure time, I have been playing football in a club for over 18 years now. I also like to meet up with my friends and spend time with them.

Three things, that you would take with you to a desert island?

Water, sun cream and a boot.

Mr. Raab, thanks for the interview and I wish you further success for the future at ERWEKA.
