ERWEKA presents itself – Ivana Martinovic, Accounting
It´s time again for another interview of our series “ERWEKA presents itself”. At the beginning of this year we would like to introduce our colleague Mrs. Ivana Martinovic from accounting.
Mrs. Martinovic, financial accountant
To learn more about her everyday working life at ERWEKA and her person, we have asked Mrs. Martinovic a few questions.
Mrs. Martinovic, you have been working for ERWEKA since the end of 2013. What´s your profession at ERWEKA?
I am working as a member of the financial accounting department at ERWEKA.
What´s your job about?
In the financial accounting we are responsible for the correct measurement of all business transactions in the area of accounting. This means all receipts and expenditures, that are caused by the organization. The tasks in the accounting are very comprehensive and basically divided into accounts payable and receivable. I am currently working in the accounts payable. In addition to various administrative tasks I take care of the obligations towards our suppliers. First of all, the supplier´s invoices are forwarded to the accounting by the different departments. Next, I record the costs in compliance with certain specifications in our system.
What´s your background? What have you been doing before you have started to work for ERWEKA?
Originally, I studied business administration. After the birth of my son I worked in the financial accounting of a service company. In 2013 I left the company and since then I have been working for ERWEKA.
What do you appreciate most about ERWEKA?
I really appreciate that I have the opportunity to go to work as a mother of three children. Due to the flexible working hours and the chance to work independently, it is possible to reconcile family and career, which is very important for me. In addition, I enjoy working together with my team.
What do you like to do in your leisure time?
As a mother of three children I spent most of my leisure time with my kids. We are doing lots of things together. We enjoy visiting leisure parks or like to go on holidays.
