ERWEKA extends its sustainability concept

ERWEKA extends its own vehicle fleet with an electric Smart, thus representing an important step towards sustainability.   

The purchase of an electric car was a major milestone in the company´s sustainability concept. From now on the electric vehicle will be used for operational trips with short distances. In order to refuel the car at the future company site in Langen, it is planned to build a charging station for electric cars.

However, this is just one of several planned construction measures as sustainability plays an important role in the construction of the new company building. For example, a sustainable cogeneration unit, which uses the cogeneration principle will use the waste heat directly on-site.
