ERWEKA at the APV granulation seminar

From November 12th to 15th, ERWEKA supported the dry- and wet granulation APV seminar. The seminar took place in Ennigerloh and ERWEKA was represented with a granulat flow tester, a tapped densitiy tester and a friability / abrasion tester.

The seminar focused on dry- and wet granulation - through the selection of formulation and process, properties of the resulting granules can be decisively influenced.

The APV dry- and wet granulation seminar is part of the APV basics series and is aimed at experienced professionals in development, production and quality control. Both theoretical content and practical application are presented which clearly illustrate the relationships between formulation, granulation process and granule properties.

ERWEKA's devices are crucial components of the seminar. Thanks to a laser measurement, the flow properties of the granules can be checked automatically with the GTB. With the SVM, the tamping volume and the stamping strength of the granules and powders are checked. And thanks to our TAR Friability Tester, the friability and the abrasion can be measured according to USP / EP / JP guidelines.
