Equipped with state-of-the-art embedded PC technology, the DT 950 features a 7-inch touch display, an intuitive user interface, and a fully integrated Audit Trail for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance—ensuring traceability, data integrity, and regulatory adherence at every step. With ERWEKA TestAssist, users are guided step by step through test configuration, guaranteeing only compliant parameters are entered for precise, USP / EP / JP compliant dissolution testing.
The DT 950 also offers comprehensive Method Management, allowing users to easily create, edit and approve methods, as well as structured User Management for secure and flexible access control and rights management. Data export to FTP servers enables smooth LIMS connectivity, while advanced IT security features protect sensitive data.
Beyond its modern interface, the DT 950 is built for long-term flexibility. The system can be upgraded—such as from 6 to 8 test stations, with automatic tablet drop or temperature sensors for each vessel, and easy switching between low-head and high-head modes. Regular software updates add new features and functionalities, making the DT 950 truly future-proof. With these innovations, the DT 950 delivers reliable, compliant, and efficient dissolution testing for modern laboratories.
100% USP / EP / JP Compliant
USP Methods 1, 2, 5 and 6
Intuitive Touch Interface
Audit Trail – Full 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
The digital embedded PC technology offers all the advantages and unlimited possibilities of modern software programming and makes the DT 950 more future-proof than ever before. In the first step, this means simple network printing and a modern user interface.
In the future, further functions will be added to the DT 950 series, allowing it to constantly adapt to user requirements and future Industry 4.0 developments.
The modern user interface of the DT 950 keeps the user focused on the most important function: the dissolution test.
The newly developed hardware of the DT 950 series enables a step-by-step upgrade from a manual dissolution tester to a semi-automatic online, offline or on- / offline system.
The ERWEKA DT 950 is developed to meet the requirements for compliance and data management for modern laboratories. Its integrated Audit Trail records all user and system actions in detail, including user, time stamp, event, reason for changes, and parameter modifications with old and new values, ensuring complete traceability.
Method Management & Approval allows authorized users to create, edit, and approve methods, while User Management provides secure access control with tailored permissions. The Backup & Restore function enables all important data—including methods, user profiles, reports, settings, and audit entries—to be backed up and restored via USB stick, with every event logged for transparency.
The touch interface of the DT 950 centers the user's attention on the most important task to be performed with the DT 950: dissolution testing. The central component is the TestAssist, an intelligent assistant with real-time feasibility checks, which provides support and ensures that the parameters entered conform to USP / EP / JP. This makes dissolution testing easy and safe.
In addition to the TestAssist, all other features, such as the control panel, the qualification menu or the service menu, are designed to connect users and hardware as quickly as possible.
The technology platform of the DT 950 / DT 9510 enables the convenient use of network printers from many different manufacturers. Thanks to a practical printer setup, the LAN-connected DT 950 / 9510 finds all printers in the network. Simply select the correct driver from a list and the DT 950 / DT 9510 reliably prints via the selected printer.
The DT 950 / DT 9510 can currently print on network and USB printers from Hewlett-Packard, Kyocera and OKI. Both systems also support USB printers from Brother. Further printers will follow shortly.

Each input field has a quickly accessible help function. If it is unclear what should be entered in the field, the help function can be triggered by clicking on the question mark symbol right next to it. This function is available throughout the ERWEKA OS, so that information can be obtained at any time.
The modern architecture of the ERWEKA operating system supports a wide range of languages (including German, English, Spanish, French, Italien), making the DT 950 the most accessible device ERWEKA has ever developed, anywhere in the world.
The service menu provides the user with direct access to the DT's most important hardware functions and information. The serial number and software version can be quickly retrieved for service cases, and maintenance can be carried out more quickly and efficiently.
Thanks to the new qualification function, qualifying the DT 950 is very easy. Simply call up the qualification menu and follow the instructions.
Our world is constantly changing - that's why ERWEKA has developed a dissolution tester that is already well equipped for the challenges of tomorrow. After the initial purchase, the DT 950 can also be upgraded further - including from 6 to 7 or 8 test stations, with an automatic tablet drop or an automatic sampling station. The high degree of modularity makes it possible to quickly turn a 6-station stand-alone DT 956, for example, into the heart of a complete dissolution HPLC On-/ Offline System with 8 test stations and Disso.NET 4 software. This means that the DT 950 remains flexible throughout its entire life cycle. After all, who knows what challenges await in a few years' time?
The power switch has been moved to the side of the device, making it much easier to reach and operate it. In addition, the power supply has been redesigned to 24 V.
The tablet drop has been moved to the top of the DT head. This means that filling is always immediately visible. The drop can be controlled automatically as an option.
The DT head has been further improved. In addition to mechanical changes to the guide and a new aluminum lock, the weight has also been reduced. This makes it easier to handle the dissolution tester head without compromising its robustness.
