Mr. Taubennest, you have started to work for ERWEKA in November 2018.

Why did you choose ERWEKA as your new employer?

I was looking for manufacturing, assembly and design. The vacancy at ERWEKA has united exactly these areas. Then, using the ERWEKA website, I got an impression of the company. The modern design and professional product videos appealed to me and the interviews caught my  interest – I wanted to get an impression of ERWEKA by myself  - and here I am.

What´s your profession at ERWEKA?

The move to the new building was my launch project, during which the assembly was restructured by Mr. Frey (my superior), me and the colleagues in the production departments. New working spaces had to be constructed, that are constantly being developed and adapted. I also support the supply chain management, especially in the production department. I am in close cooperation with the colleagues to improve work processes and the working environment constantly. Process optimization in assembly is also part of my area of responsibility.

How is your day-to-day job alike?

Twice a week, there is a tour through the departments in the morning to clarify open topics. I also sit at my workplace to research and construct. For department-specific topics, I am in close contact with colleagues in production, assembly and in the warehouse.

What do you like most about your job?

I like the versatile activities in my job. The change from the pure PC workstation to the communication with the other departments and the nice colleagues.

What´s your background? What have you been doing before you have started to work at ERWEKA?

I did a training as an industrial mechanic and then studied mechanical engineering. I found my entry at an industrial group, where I gathered my first experiences in the field of process optimization. After that I came to ERWEKA.

What do you appreciate most about ERWEKA?

At ERWEKA, I appreciate the flexible working hours and the short Friday. The surrounding localities are an enrichment for the lunch break.

What do you like to do in your leisure time?

In my free time, I am busy with our two kitten babies. In addition, I play football and table tennis and therefore I am already traveling a lot.

Three words, which describe yourself?

Reliable. Structured. Calmly.

Mr. Taubennest thank you for the friendly interview and I wish you further success for the future at ERWEKA.
