Obituary Werner G. Müller

Dear Dealers. Agents, Customers and Friends of Erweka,

with great sorrow we must inform you of the sudden and unexpected passing of Mr. Werner G. Müller. Mr. Müller passed away Monday, 27th of June 2022, peacefully in his sleep and leaves behind his wife, Claudia Müller.

Mr. Müller is a great loss for all at ERWEKA. When Mr. Müller bought ERWEKA in the 1970s with just about 30 employees, he always inspired to think bigger and further. Under his leadership, the company constantly grew, up to the world-renowned premium manufacturer we are now. His influence can be felt in all our products and in the industry he helped to shape. During his leadership of 40 years as CEO, ERWEKA laid several cornerstones we are still building upon today – from dissolution testing with system automation to 5-parameter hardness tester such as the MultiCheck. Mr. Müller was always closely involved in the development of all our products.

When Mr. Müller passed on his CEO to his wife in 2017, he prepared to transition ERWEKA into the digital age. Since then, Mrs. Müller has led ERWEKA and introduced industry-defining products such as the digital dissolution tester DT 950. While we will greatly miss Mr. Müllers’ wisdom and seemingly unlimited well of ideas, ERWEKA will continue its current path in his spirit with great product ideas and solutions for all our customers.
